Tuesday activities

Olivia y Maeve en el supermercado

Tuesday afternoon we visited El Museo Provincial de Salamanca.

These are "Verracos" or pigs, made by the pre-Roman inhabitants of the Iberian peninsula

With a new friend

No Lexzi, that is NOT a bowling ball.

After the museum, some of us visited la Catedral Nueva (17th century) and la Catedral Vieja (13th century)

This is the left forearm of a priest that was killed in 1936, and has since been beatified by the Pope.

The old cathedral is ANCIENT.  You can just feel the history as you walk through.
